Action where order breached

Breach of an order can be dealt with in one of 3 ways:

a) by the activation of a power of arrest

b) as a result of a warrant

c) by way of an application to commit to prison

Power of arrest is dealt with above. Where a power of arrest is not attached to an order an application may be made for the arrest of the respondent if in breach of the order. An application to commit the respondent to prison may also be made if there is a breach.
