Steps before the Final Hearing

a) The parties will be expected to comply with any further Directions made by the Court at the FDR.  

b) In all cases the Applicant’s solicitors will be required to prepare a hearing bundle containing all the documents which the court will be referred to at the hearing. The contents of the bundle must be agreed between the parties.  

c) A summary of the case and chronology of important dates must also be prepared and included in the hearing bundle.  

d) In advance of the hearing both parties must put in writing a statement of open proposals setting out in detail what order they are seeking the court to make. The Applicant must serve his/her statement to the Respondent at least 14 days before the final hearing. The Respondent must file and serve his/her statement 7 days after receiving the Applicant’s statement. Both parties must also file their statement of open proposals in the Court.  

e) Both parties must also produce an Estimate of Costs as with previous hearings.
