BUSINESS IMMIGRATION

Work Permits This is administered by Work Permits (UK). We deal with work permit applications for all types of businesses from information technology, construction, financial, hotels and catering, sports, entertainments, medical, etc. If you wish to work in the UK you will need to find a job first. The employer obtains the work permit to employ you. We receive enquiries form employers and employees.

Sole Representatives of Foreign Companies wishing to enter the UK to set up a branch office. The Immigration Rules allows overseas companies to send an individual to the United Kingdom for business purposes. Mainly representatives or managers make use of this provision to establish a branch or subsidiary in the United Kingdom. Sole representatives may represent one only company and must be a full-time employee of the company. This excludes sales representatives you are paid on commission.

Highly Skilled Migrant Worker Programme This is a point based scheme enabling those with specialist skills and education to enter the UK to take up employment or self employment in the UK. Under this scheme it is not necessary to have a work permit before hand or find an employer or business to establish.

Investors Persons with in excess of £1 million held in their own name in the United Kingdom are welcomed as investors. A minimum of £750,000 must be invested in government bonds, or share or loan capital in United Kingdom registered companies. Investment in properties is not allowed other and there must be a benefit to the United Kingdom economy. Placing funds in a bank and building society is not sufficient. You must intend to make the United Kingdom your main home so this category has significant tax implications.

Business Persons who wish to set up business in the UK must be able to invest £200,000 of their own money. The business made be as sole traders, in partnership or by incorporating a company. You will also need to show you have resources to maintain yourself and your family until the business can generate income. You must intend to engage full-time in running the business and take no additional employment elsewhere. You must be able to show a need for the business and create at least two full time jobs in the first 12 months of trading. If you purchase an existing business then you have to produce audited accounts for previous years.


PRIVATE IMMIGRATION We assist private individual with spouse applications, visa applications, settlement, and citizenship. We also make representations on behalf those who are refused visa to British High Commissions Embassies overseas. We also advise and assist and represent our clients in appeals against refusal of visas.
